Lamentation by (Karezoid Michal Karcz)
Peggy Wong // Urban Lines.
At first there was nothing.
Then, spontaneously, something.
in this, assumptions abound.
at first there was something
and only in time did that something become
there has always been nothing
and we narcissistically see ourselves
as real things in a real world.
I don’t know.
Perhaps the answer is
no beginnings and no endings,
I do know this:
In-between those nonexistent dates,
exists a dash
in which we love,
Until we are no more.
And the universe itself
the something that was.
And the nothing it left behind.
